5, 6, 7 June 2012: FLUXPYR final meeting, Barcelona, Spain

The final FLUXPYR meeting will take place in Barcelona (Spain) on the 5 th , 6 th and 7 th of June 2012.

This meeting will gather expert scientists, stakeholders, policy-makers, students and people particularly interested by climate and land-use change issues and natural resource management, especially in mountain areas.

The French, Spanish and Andorran partners will present their achievements and round tables opened to the general public will give participants the opportunity to interact and to discuss issues related for example to carbon sequestration, water resources and ecosystem services in mountain areas. The challenges related to the improvement of the interface between science and society will also be addressed.

A preliminary programme of this event and details of the venue will be published soon and registration will open later on.

Due to the limited number of places available, participation to this meeting will be subject to prior registration.

26-27 May 2011: FLUXPYR annual Meeting, Solsona, Spain

The next FLUXPYR annual meeting will take place at the CTFC, in Solsona (Spain), on the 26th and 27th of May 2011.

The meeting will bring together researchers from the 11 partners involved, as well as members of the advisory board and administrative staff.

We will organize scientific presentations and discussions, sub-meetings in Working Groups, and a small trip to visit one of the three FLUXPYR eddy covariance sites in Catalonia.

26 August 2010, 12 a.m. - Inauguration of the first FLUXPYR micrometeorological station on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees.

Venue: Pla de Riart, about 10 km north of Solsona (Province of Lerida, Spain), Road LV-4201. Time: 12 a.m.

Refreshments and a light picnic will be provided by the CTFC.
