My current research is about diverse ecosystem processes on the Pyrenean grasslands. Concretely I am interested in what factors drive species richness and soil organic carbon in the Pyrenees, the role of fairy rings in the modulation of grassland soil microbial communities and how plat guild composition affects soil organic carbon. I hold a Bachelor Degree in Biology and a Master degree in Conservation Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid. In previous stages of my career, I published several works about spatial and spatiotemporal modelling of insects and animal diseases in collaboration with different research groups.
