Berta Costa Miret

Graduated in Environmental Biology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), with special interest in ecology, biodiversity dynamics and conservation. During my internship at CREAF, I gained experience on the research of the effects of biodiversity on agriculture through the study of pollinator ecology, as well as the negative impact of pesticides on these essential species. To further explore new approaches on agriculture, I completed a MSc in Environmental Agriculture at the University of Barcelona (UB). I am currently working at the University of Lleida and CTFC, where I have been involved in the POST-OPS project and am now primarily engaged in the PRIMA SUSFORAGE project (2021-2025). Both projects focus on sown forage mixtures for sustainable agroecosystems in the Mediterranean region, among other initiatives
