Ronit Bohra is an MSc European Forestry scholar from India. After completing his primary and secondary education in western Nepal and an undergraduate degree in northern India, Ronit worked for a year with the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun under a wildlife project named ‘Project Tiger’. He then relocated to Europe in 2021 to pursue his Master’s degree after receiving a prestigious EU-funded Joint Master’s Degree in European Forestry. He chose Universitat de Lleida, Spain as his second university after completing his first year of master’s studies at the University of Finland, Joensuu.

With an academic background in tropical forestry from India and Nepal, boreal forestry from Finland, and Mediterranean forestry from Spain, Ronit is an environment enthusiast who is passionate about ecology, biodiversity, and climate change. Currently, he is conducting his thesis with the IBERALP Project studying the Greenhouse gas fluxes along climatic gradients in alpine ecosystems across the Iberian Peninsula. Prof. Teresa Sebastià is supervising the thesis.
