Currently working as post doctoral researcher at the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC). Doctor in Forest and Natural Environment Management by the University of Lleida (2020). My thesis focused on studying the influence of vegetation on greenhouse gas exchange (CO2, CH4 and N2O), and C and N cycling in grasslands. My educational background is a degree in Environmental Sciences (2009) and a MSc. in Terrestrial Ecology (2012), both granted by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Before starting my PhD also I worked as research technician in the Forest Science Centre of Catalonia (CTFC), where I was involved in several research projects, and I carried out my Master thesis, working on the influence of phenology and plant functional types dominance on CO2 exchange in mountain grasslands. Also, I worked as research technician in the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI, Nairobi, Kenya), where I provided technical support assessing ammonia emissions from cattle activity.
